Overview

The Front app integration allows your agent to send messages and notifications directly to Front channels during conversations. This integration enables seamless customer communication management, automated notifications, and team collaboration based on conversation outcomes.

How to configure Front

Step 1: Navigate to the Front app In your Strada dashboard, navigate to the Apps section in the left sidebar, then locate and click on Front to begin the configuration process. Step 2: Connect to Front Click the Connect button to initiate the OAuth authorization flow. You will be redirected to Front where you can authorize Strada to access your Front account.
Make sure youโ€™re logged into the correct Front account before clicking Connect. You may need admin permissions to authorize apps in your Front organization.
Step 3: Authorize Strada in Front On the Front authorization page:
  1. Review the permissions that Strada is requesting
  2. Select which Front account/workspace to connect (if you have multiple)
  3. Click Authorize to grant Strada access to send messages in your Front channels
Front will then redirect you back to Strada with the connection established. Step 4: Verify the connection Once redirected back to Strada, you should see a confirmation that your Front account is successfully connected. The connection should then show up on your list of Connected Apps.

Available Front Actions

Once connected, your agent can perform the following actions:

Post-Call or In-Call Workflow Actions

Front can be used in post-call or in-call workflows to automate communication processes:
  • Send Channel Message - Send messages to Front channels during or after call completion
See the Post-Call Workflows documentation for detailed information on configuring Front workflow actions.

Front Permissions

The Front integration requires the following permissions:
  • Send messages: Permission to send messages to channels and conversations
  • Read channel information: Access to view available channels and inboxes
  • View user profile: Access to your basic profile information
You can review and modify these permissions at any time in your Front account settings under Settings โ†’ Apps & integrations โ†’ Authorized apps.

Security Best Practices

  • Only grant the minimum required permissions for your use case
  • Regularly review connected apps in your Front account
  • Monitor messages sent to Front channels to verify proper usage
  • Disconnect the integration if itโ€™s no longer needed
  • Keep your Front account secured with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication
