# Schedules

> Configure calling schedules to respect business hours and time zones

Schedules define when your campaigns can place outbound calls. Each schedule specifies active calling hours per day of the week, a timezone, and optional holiday exclusions.

Navigate to **Settings > Calls > Schedules** to manage your schedules.

***

## Schedules List

The list page shows all schedules as cards with the schedule name, timezone, and a summary of active hours (e.g., "Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM"). Each card has actions to copy the schedule ID, edit, or delete.

Click **New Schedule** to create a new schedule.

## Creating a Schedule

### Name and Timezone

At the top of the editor, enter a **Schedule Name** and select a **Timezone**. The timezone determines when calling hours start and stop.

Select **Contact Timezone** to use each contact's local timezone rather than a fixed one.

### Weekly Hours

Configure which days and times calls can be placed. Each day of the week (Sunday through Saturday) has a toggle to enable or disable it.

For enabled days, set one or more time windows:

* **Start time** and **End time** define a calling window (30-minute increments)
* Click the **+** button to add multiple windows for a single day (e.g., morning and afternoon with a lunch break)
* Click the **copy** icon to duplicate a day's time configuration to other days

By default, all days start disabled. When you enable a day, it defaults to 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

### Holidays and Exclusions

The **Holidays & Exclusions** section lets you block calling on specific dates.

**Federal Holidays** - All 11 US federal holidays are listed with individual toggles. Use **Enable all** or **Disable all** to manage them in bulk. Each holiday shows its upcoming date. The holidays are:

* New Year's Day
* Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
* Washington's Birthday
* Memorial Day
* Juneteenth National Independence Day
* Independence Day
* Labor Day
* Columbus Day
* Veterans Day
* Thanksgiving Day
* Christmas Day

**Custom Exclusions** - Click **Add Exclusion** to create custom date rules. Each exclusion has a name and one of three rule types:

* **Specific Date** - A single calendar date (e.g., December 25, 2026)
* **Annual (Month/Day)** - Recurring dates by day and month (e.g., the 1st and 15th of January and March every year)
* **Nth Weekday** - Recurring dates by weekday position (e.g., the 1st and Last Monday of January every year)

Each exclusion can be individually enabled or disabled, edited, or removed.

### Saving

Click **Save** to create or update the schedule. Click **Cancel** to discard changes and return to the list.

***

## Deleting and Restoring

Deleting a schedule moves it to the **Deleted Schedules** section at the bottom of the list page. Deleted schedules are not available for campaign assignment.

Click the restore button on a deleted schedule to bring it back.
