# Microsoft Teams

> Connect your agent with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and messaging

## Overview

The Microsoft Teams app integration allows your agent to send messages and notifications directly to Microsoft Teams channels and chats during conversations. This integration enables real-time team collaboration, automated notifications, and seamless communication based on conversation outcomes.

## How to configure Microsoft Teams

**Step 1: Navigate to the Microsoft Teams app**

In your Strada dashboard, navigate to the **Apps** section in the left sidebar, then locate and click on **Microsoft Teams** to begin the configuration process.

**Step 2: Connect to Microsoft Teams**

Click the **Connect** button to initiate the OAuth authorization flow. You will be redirected to Microsoft where you can authorize Strada to access your Microsoft Teams account.

<Note>
  Make sure you're logged into the correct Microsoft account before clicking Connect. You may need admin
  permissions to authorize apps in your Teams organization.
</Note>

**Step 3: Authorize Strada in Microsoft**

On the Microsoft authorization page:

1. Review the permissions that Strada is requesting
2. Select which Microsoft account/organization to connect (if you have multiple)
3. Click **Accept** to grant Strada access to send messages in your Microsoft Teams

Microsoft will then redirect you back to Strada with the connection established.

**Step 4: Verify the connection**

Once redirected back to Strada, you should see a confirmation that your Microsoft Teams account is successfully connected. The connection should then show up on your list of **Connected Apps**.

## Security Best Practices

* Only grant the minimum required permissions for your use case
* Regularly review connected apps in your Microsoft account
* Monitor messages sent to Teams channels to verify proper usage
* Disconnect the integration if it's no longer needed
* Keep your Microsoft account secured with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication
